Hello, there has been quite a lot of the type of shakers that ring, ring, ring my phone. . . but not any that required an update over the weekend so all in all it hasn't been too bad as far as any serious earthquakes are concerned although a lot of the little swarm type earthquakes and they might all together be indicating something could be about ready to let loose somewhere, too!!! My biggest concern right this moment is all the shaking at Indonesia and very near Banda Aceh, too! This is all happening at the SAME EXACT MOMENT as the landfall of Cyclone Meg at Socotra Island, not to be confused as I did confuse it. . . with Socorro Island off shore of Mexico! Nevermind the confusion, Socotra Island is in the far west Bay of Bengal and big enough that it took at least a good hour or two for 100 mile per hour winds to cross all the way across it and unfortunately that would normally mean to watch for earthquakes somewhere, but on this particular day it appears Indonesia DID SHAKE immediately as the big windstorm raked across that island approximately straight across from it at that northern region of the Indio/Aust. Tectonic Plate! Not entirely unheard of, but could also mean somebody else might be shaking VERY SOON over in that region, too! New Zealand, Japan, or perhaps the Pacific will be next along that straight line and hopefully it will give me an extra day or so to check out before it lets loose say at San Francisco! A close look at the San Ramon-San Francisco Swarm that once was, now looks like this could just be the winding down of it and not actually even be anything at all. There has also been a ton of shaking at South America around Peru and Chile but nothing too much beyond 6.5 and up to this point no reports of any damage, tsunamis, or any injuries there. I do have to report as you might have heard in "Earthquake Minute" that I will probably have another prediction for Chile coming soon but for now know there IS something like 7 or 8 headed for them and we may be talking tsunami, too!
