Again, as with all the earthquakes at Mexico yesterday or in yesterdays EQ Blog rather, this big 5.8 would have been a very big earthquake event if it shook any closer to California or our West Coast! Therefore why don't we sort of watch for just something like that to still happen because this here is serious, albeit a general movement of the tectonic place that's sort of unpredictable as to what might happen next. The one listed as an explosion could possibly be a clue, but not sure if all of that noise on todays list of latest earthquakes is exactly related to an explosion or perhaps if they're like doing any mining up there in that region where strip mining or whatever could be a real possiblilty. . . although I have no knowledge at all whatsoever on what types of stuff they could be mining! Coal, copper, silver, or maybe gold, but I really doubt if all of todays earthquakes are the result of explosions in the process of gold mining! More likely that would be coal, and it is a fact that there's a good sized amount of coal in the ground in that region but again it's out of my field!!!
