Full Moon Will Happen Right In The Middle Of Time Change To Daylight Savings Time!!! WHAT??? Also 3.2 Gonzales, CA, and 4.7 Hawaii Earthquake!!! And Now. . . More Exciting News on "Earthquake Minute"!!!

The Exact Moment of the March Full Moon will be on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 14:55 UTC, so in Central Time that will be at 8:55am, although the TIME CHANGE is going to be taking place somewhere over this weekend, too, so I won't be exactly sure on the HOUR. Anyways it should be something like 6:55am Pacific Time with the Full Moon Window starting those times on March 11 or Saturday Morning which will still be on "Standard Time" and therefore those times will be accurate for the start of the Full Moon Window. Problem comes on Sunday when the "Exact Moment" will need to be determined by moving your clock AHEAD for Daylight Savings Time and the times given being Universal Time, will then probably need to be subtracted at 5 hours to convert to Central, and etc.

The felt report from this one is growing as I'm writing, so I'll have it posted somewhere eventually! Just now struck at around 11:20am on Wednesday Central Time:

So, here's what's going on as this edition of EQ Blog goes to press!!! Can't explain why I went past to update that Hawaii list and found what HAD been a 4.2 now posted as a 4.7 and I want to put three question marks after that one??? My regular readers all know I routinely complain because they usually LOWER the magnitudes on most earthquakes for whatever reason. . . but of course in the fairness of trying to post them accurately I suppose, they must occasionally RAISE one and they sometimes do!!! Yes, they sure raised that one and perhaps a story will come along later and I'll have an explanation for it.

Today, there is also a brand-new landfall of a Category-4 Tropical Cyclone and so you can tune-in to this weeks local Community Radio Edition of "Earthquake Minute" for all those details!! NOW Posted Above!!! Friday, Friday, Friday!!! EQ Guy
