As we get out there in the number of days we have been continually watching for a potential major earthquake resultant, I noticed I am starting to check and re-check some of the more familiar correlations with the most major of windstorms with the most major of earthquakes that were the result. Case in point just early Sunday as I prepare for my early Monday Morning EQ Blog was the question of Landers, Hector Mines, Islamabad, and then Honshu, Japan came up again although I knew I had just not too long ago discussed that one. It was back on Day 37 which led me to write out this paragraph to the effect that there have now even been many of these more lengthy correlations that me and only me has very patiently followed all the way down the long road to the series of day numbers where strictly speaking a few of the biggest earthquakes have occurred!!! Checked Landers and the day number was eclipsed several days ago, checked Yasi/Honshu and it was Day 37 or last week. . . and as you know that leaves today, Day 42 the date of the huge 6.3 Offshore San Diego earthquake that followed one of my most fantastic Official Predictions for Lompoc, California that actually HIT!!! Albeit in the range of just 3 or 4 Richters. Finally Katrina-Islamabad on the same day as this months New Moon or Day 43 on Tuesday. Those were also major waits for those major earthquakes. . . but in the end turned out to be RIGHT!!! Remaining, and I just completed going back to 1999 and auditing this one, is the Hurricane Bret-Hector Mines earthquake and still to this day the BIGGEST Major Earthquake to strike Los Angeles with that correlation to drag on possibly with us along with it, until February 1st.
LOTS of earthquakes started striking around Los Angeles on Sunday, but since they didn't look fearsome enough and in the end there weren't enough of them I decided not to write up a special EQ Blog entry for that days events and instead wrote up the list. So, in just moments or possibly before you are reading this it will be the January New Moon Window and I did indeed spend some time seeing if it had any relationship to the Duran, Duran song "New Moon On Monday" and judging by the lyrics there might be some New Moon stuff going on there in that song, but it doesn't look like any references to earthquakes. . . so let's move on! New Moon Window will run particularly through Tuesday at which time the exact moment of the new moon will be early that day and the entire window will run on into Wednesday. The date of January 19 will be the new moon window coinciding with Day 43 after Hugupit, and could still be that one Major Earthquake so be watching for it, and possibly a tsunami, too!!! EQ Guy
