People who've been reading this blog now know we will be expecting MUCH More shaking at Oklahoma during the January 2016 New Moon Window which starts late today! The New Moon Window will begin later today, Friday January 8 at 6:31pm Pacific and the Exact Moment of that New Moon will be on Saturday January 9 at 8:31pm Central Time. However. . . it seems rather likely there's a whole lot more going on in Oklahoma than just the fact that there's an upcoming New Moon! I have in my notes that I should make some mention of Pyongyang, and while it's hard to believe it could have any connection to Oklahoma, here's what the cold hard facts look like!!! AND The ones in that above list are basically only the ones associated with that immediate area there, I know there was many more over in the Oklahoma City Region but I cleaned up this list to show ALL the shakers that struck right there! From following story: "In 2015, 907 quakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater were reported in Oklahoma, up from 584 in 2014. There were only 42 such earthquakes in the state in 2010 and 1 such tremor in 2005., according to KFOR-TV." Story@ http://www.weather.com/news/news/oklahoma-earthquake-swarm-fairview-january-2016 According to the USGS, there have been 30 such earthquakes already in 2016, the most recent being a preliminary magnitude-4.0 tremor near Fairview at 1:59 p.m. Thursday. Can you believe it, more earthquakes in the first few days of 2016 then in all of those other years combined!!! Going to be a big year for earthquakes, there!!!
