Looks like the Pacific Tectonic Plate keeps moving exactly as we've been watching for!!! Here's a big Vanuatu Earthquake that struck on Thursday Afternoon Central Time and very near both the major towns out in that region of Luganville, and Port-Vila! Also two places very near the epicenter of landfall of Cyclone Pam this time last year, too!!!!! Here's the USGS Report on the earthquake there:

Three in a row like that for Tehachapi just north of L.A. is kind of unusual and a reminder to me that the Great Los Angeles/Landers Earthquake of 1992 was also preceded by a whole "Tornado Outbreak" which I might be discussing in todays "Earthquake Minute" time permiting, so I'll just otherwise leave that conversation for later or next week and assume there isn't going to be such a massive tornado outbreak over this weekend such that I'll say there might have been any reason I should have gone on to discuss it! Until then just know Landers was preceded by a big tornado outbreak!!!
There'll probably continue to be some shaking going on especially around the Pacific, but there had also been like a 3.8 France Earthquake for whatever reason, too. I'll update if anything happens sooner, until then. . . Have a Good-Weekend, Everybody!!! EQ Guy

I noticed you never mentioned the earthquakes that are happening and the 2 volcanos that are threatening to erupt in New Zealand.

Thank-You for writing me with this info!!! Checked and found all the earthquakes connected with this event, these events, came in under threshold of USGS at about 5 Richers so there had been no such information available.
Looks like it'll just be those quick two "Pops" as the following story says and New Zealand is saying they're unrelated, although pretty much all my regular readers already know all such things are always related:)
