3.6 Richters Gilroy, and 3.5 San Juan Bautista, California New Moon Earthquakes!!! New Moon Window Runs Until Monday Afternoon!!!

Two earthquakes within 10 miles of each other at Central California on Sunday! First a 3.6 Richters Gilroy, and then a 3.5 San Juan Bautista, California and both shook inside the February New Moon Window which continues into Monday. So, those two Gilroy and San Juan Bautista Epicenters are actually only about ten miles apart right up there in that San Andreas Fault Line Region just outside of Monterrey, California not far from Monterrey Bay. Here's the whole list of them as of press time. . . more could shaker there, though!

2.2 5km S of Gilroy, California 2017-02-27 05:32
1.1 4km NNW of Hollister, California 2017-02-27 05:15
1.7 5km S of Gilroy, California 2017-02-26 23:17
3.5 3km S of San Juan Bautista, California 2017-02-26 19:55
1.5 5km S of Gilroy, California 2017-02-26 16:34
3.6 5km S of Gilroy, California 2017-02-26 14:58
1.8 5km SW of Gilroy, California 2017-02-26 08:03

The San Juan Bautista Epicenter is located farther away from the heavily populated San Francisco Bay Region and therefore seemed to have gotten fewer felt reports at so far 77. Gilroy appears closer to those cities and looks like it's about 30 from San Jose but got so far 632 felt reports! One tenth Richter larger the reason, or that ten miles?

And I might have said I'll have the measurements of the landfall of Cyclone Alfred in by todays EQ Blog, but been extremely busy with Oscars tonight and so I'll do it tomorrow! Right now it sort of looks like these two might already be having something to do with it:

4.6 13km WNW of Ramechhap, Nepal 2017-02-27 04:21
4.7 20km NNE of Ramechhap, Nepal 2017-02-27 03:37

And of course with Nepal already getting some shaking, New Zealand will probably be getting some shaking there very soon, too, and hopefully not a lot else before I have time to check the globe later! Thank-You for being patient and reading!!! EQ Guy
