Earthquake Heading to Seattle!!! 6.5 Richters!!!!!
The big news is that the next big earthquake that will be striking on our West Coast will probably be at or near Seattle, Washington! There isn't much in between those islands of Japan and the coast of Washington and they might also be about due for a fair sized shaker as well. I will give this new earthquake energy till about June 16, 2012 and watch the Boise region as well because they may also be due for a 6 or 7 Richters shaker. The energy from what little landfall there was of Hurricane BUD might also be heading up that Boise way, but a check of my globe shows that Sayer, Shattuck, and Buffalo, Oklahoma are actually right in line with that slightly smaller potential earthquake energy which could go on to Colorado, and North Dakota before reaching the Nepal Kurghastan region much later on. Finally todays landfall of Tropical Storm Beryl at Jacksonville, Florida with windspeeds reported around 70 will mean earthquake energy crossing Texas and probably striking around Mexicali, or Enseneda Mexico and could just catch San Diego County with a lot of smallish 5 or 6 Magnitude earthquakes, but don't look for too much over 6 out there. That earthquake energy will also cross the path of energy from Hurricane BUD, but they were both so small in the first place that combined a 5.5 Richters shaker should be the top limit there. Not really much huge shaky stuff, but if you follow my earthquake writing on a regular basis. . . then you pretty much already know what is about to happen, here! And Thank-You for reading! EQ Guy
