Bud has now been upgraded to a Hurricane!!! Here is a link to what Hurricane Bud looked like as of this morning:

BUD is presently heading for a landfall just south of the tip of the Baja California Peninsula with a well defined eye and fairly big outer bands. Although I thought I had heard said that it would be slowing, we have to watch just the same to know if it is slowing as a result of making landfall at islands or contacting shallow water along the way which would generate earthquake energy. I will update as needed, but since it is such a huge hurricane right this moment, let’s consider this one to already be significant new earthquake energy and think be prepared!!!
