San Francisco-Oakland-San Ramon All Done Shaking!!! BUT Swarm Could Migrate To Elsewhere So Be Watching!!! GREAT New Edition of "Earthquake Minute" on Friday!!!

The end of that Swarm at San Ramon might seem like a good thing for San Francisco-Oakland-And San Ramon, but keep watching because it could still turn out to be a bad thing for somebody else somewhere! Possibly California or San Francisco, too!!! So, as of this writing there had been about 5 other small earthquakes yesterday that happened beyond the October Full Moon Window, and JUST these here 4 sort of small ones with the date "October 29" attached to them. It even looks like the FINAL one was at 11;51 and that would have been "AM" Central Time since I edit out the Central Time language tag at the end of all mine that come in here in the Central Time Zone. Here is apparently ALL of them that shook San Ramon on Thursday and the hope that Friday will be the end of it, but know it could "Migrate" up to Eureka, over to Mammoth Lakes, or up to Lakeview, Oregon or elsewhere!!!

4.8 Richters Antofagasta, Chile!!! Might Not Seem Like That Big of a Deal. . . But Read On!!!!! And Watch For More, There!!!

A 4.8 Richters Earthquake struck early Wednesday just 20 miles north of Antofagasta, Chile and exactly 22 hours and 2 minutes after the exact moment of the October Full Moon and also just past the exact moment that I'd been predicting for Antofagasta! But just in the event that it could have been a foreshock. . . let us keep watching that area for something MAJOR to shake!!! Another way to say it is that I actually honestly "Predicted" one to happen on October 27. . . and one shook there on October 28!!! To me that's incredible and can't hardly say I've ever had one so close as 20 hours! Albeit a couple off on the Richter Scale, it is still at least somewhat of a factor that Antofagasta while getting occasional earthquakes, might not have been aware one was coming! Might start thinking about getting the word out on some of these as I always like to say!

San Ramon Swarm has become at least one news story!!! HERE GOES: I first decided I should probably describe this pic after posting it and noticing no description of it, THEN, decided to first say it was originally intended to be a pic from very near the epicenter of 7.7 Afghanistan Earthquake on Monday. However, it's time I should mention and you might have heard reference to it in "Earthquake Minute" Video about trees dying. . . well TAKE A LOOK at trees along Main Street in Afghanistan!!! See all the dead trees? With that big GREEN ONE standing proudly behind them! That's what I'm talking about by dead trees, and they're getting so common that a random pic from even Afghanistan has a whole lot of them! Be watching for them around your region especially where leaves have not yet fallen!

Here is probably the place to now update with today being Day 31 after the landfall of Typhoon DuJuan at Taiwan and keep watching because Day 43 will be November 13, and upcoming Day 33 will be on October 31. Looks like it might also be time to discuss New Madrid and the Day # there might be something like Day 10-November 2, or Day 21-November 13, because now that I look at my sheet there is actually a Super Typhoon that made landfall in between there and an additional alert for Chile that I must have been overlooking! That one is for a place called Arica, Chile and the date there is Day 10 coming on October 27, or passed on that day, rather. So be watching for that one as Day 21 nears on November 6, 2015! EQ Guy

LOTS Of Earthquakes And Full Moon Window Will Run Into Wednesday!!! KEEP Watching Even Beyond Full Moon Window For Some Major Alerts That Will Continue!!!

October Full Moon Window is now up to 43 Earthquakes at San Ramon Near San Francisco-Oakland!!! (Update: Going FAR Beyond that number!!!) There are probably always felt reports of one kind or another for maybe a lot of those smaller earthquakes in any swarm as well as San Ramon, but every so often one looks like it might have been big enough to create a felt report that was more noteworthy so I check as with this one during the afternoon hours of Tuesday and found quite an interesting array of towns around San Francisco Bay here! 7.7 Richters Earthquake Strikes Afghanistan Early Monday Morning Under October Full Moon!!! Keep Watching, Exact Moment Is Tuesday Morning!!! UPDATE: Lots of Shaking at Frisco!!! Updated List!!!

It was actually not the full moon technically since the full moon is Tuesday, but you could say October Full Moon Window had just about almost begun, and I have been known to say watch a couple hours before the exact moment the Full Moon Window begins such as on Monday it would have normally started at exactly 6:06am Central and the 7.7 Earthquake was at 4:09am Central, so enough said there because it easily fits right into that extra 2 hours I like to add just for extra measure!

I was amazed at the number of felt reports and now sorry to report upwards of 260 dead with felt reports covering that entire region all the way to Kathmandu and beyond!!! October Full Moon Window Starts At 6:06 AM Central Time On Monday!!! Big Alert So Be Watching!!! UPDATE: 7.7 Richters Afghanistan!!!

UPDATE: There was a 7.7 Richters Earthquake at Afghanistan early on Monday Morning just moments before the actual full moon window would begin, more updates on all that info later, right now here's the felt report at Earthquake Central@ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2015/10/77-ricthers-earthquake-strikes.html AND Now Todays EQ Blog:

Now that the hurricane made landfall at Mexico as the biggest hurricane in all of recorded history, there will now be a very big and dangerous earthquake and Mexico is very much one place that should begin getting some of the earthquake energy at any moment! A 5.1 Struck 100 Miles East of Colima already early Sunday! Straight line from this one goes up into the New Madrid, Illinois/Indiana Region but there's no way to say if they will be feeling any affect. Line continues up there into Iceland where if this one hits it could be a bad volcano, but some other smaller countries are next and I will need time to get all those details and Ukraine won't be getting anything major in the next day or two anyways. Of course the full moon will be a factor in Mexico and at New Madrid and I'm actually even sort of anxious to see if Oklahoma or one of those places such as Texas will get any unusually BIG Earthquakes!!! Could they actually get the 6 or 7 they have coming? We will also need to watch along the Pacific especially California and Mexico IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

Earthquakes Continue Near San Francisco-Oakland, California at San Ramon!!! KEEP WATCHING For Something Major To Shake Around There Somewhere!!! UPDATE: Landfall of CAT-5 Hurricane Patricia at Mexico Friday, And Earthquake Minute!

5.4 Richters Strikes Near Fukushima, Japan!!! LOTS of New Information Has Come In As A Result!!! UPDATE: Looks Like San Ramon-Frisco IS Shaking Again!!!

With that said, and if nothing else more interesting comes along, the next thing on todays list of earthquake stuff to post here is what looks like it might be about the final update for the recent "San Ramon" Swarm near San Francisco-Oakland. (It DID look like that, but as of Noon Central Time they're shaking again) Was thought that it might be a whole lot of foreshocks for something that might happen there, but I've got to mention that it doesn't really matter all that much WHERE all the foreshocks are at, the big one can be a lot of sort of nearby places such as there was already a 3.6 Richters 30 Miles West of Ferndale at around 6pm Wednesday Central Time and I know it has to be directly connected because that's the only source of big earthquake energy and along those lines there could still be 4.4 and 4.5 out there due to that being the size of the two biggest recent Oklahoma Earthquakes and they commonly come up in pairs such as that there. One final look at the entire list of San Ramon Earthquakes. Let's begin with three that I probably should add to the list, but am putting them here to illustrate that the size of these is dropping like the swarm is pretty much over:

7.1 Richters Earthquake Strikes Vanuatu!!! ALSO: 2.4 Richters Shook Near St. Louis Very Early Tuesday Morning!

The 7.1 Richters Vanuatu Earthquake turned out to be a rather deep one and therefore it was found not to be able to cause a tsunami out there in that region of the Pacific where Cyclone Pam also made a huge CAT-5 Landfall earlier this year! Although this one was felt in many places there, and was reported to have shook for at least a couple minutes, only a report of broken glass was the sum total. Location being near Port Orly, it was also reported felt at the nations capital there, Port Vila on a different island some miles from this epicenter. It was also stated in the news that reports had yet to come in from some other islands that were nearer the epicenter.

There's still some shaking going on at San Ramon and the list is updated so you can read through it and see for yourself how much it is still shaking@ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2015/10/getting-lots-of-earthquakes-up-around.html While it is possible all this shaking was a factor in Tuesdays 7.1 Vanuatu Earthquake, it will remain a possibllity that Calfornia could still get something before this series is fully concluded and the alerts along those lines run until the end of November, anyways.

Here is the felt report from the 2.4 Richters Earthquake that struck just outside of St. Louis that certainly would have had many more felt reports if not for the fact that it shook at around 2am on Tuesday very early morning! Here's that felt report:

Now A HUGE Swarm Taking Over San Francisco And Looking Like It COULD Be The Next Major Earthquake There, Possibly On Dormant Hayward Fault!!!

It might be time to stop talking about Major Earthquake Preparations and begin to act!!! Especially if you are reading this and you are located in or very near San Francisco or Oakland, California! Just a few of the ways you should be preparing right now are a brand-new set of batteries in your flashlights, full tank of gas in your car, and have at least an extra 24 to 48 hours worth of food and water around just in case you may be unable to get out of your neighborhood for a day or so if the worst happens and this Major Earthquake strikes near you!!! I just gave you a few of the ones I like to share from memory, but you might wish to check out a real good website with a whole lot more! Among the 200 plus earthquakes they've been getting at San Ramon just East of Frisco, was a 3.6 Richters Earthquake at around 4:21pm on Monday and the felt report has a lot of new places that they apparently have not been feeling all the rest of them up to this point including Hayward, Redwood City and Channel Islands! Also that Oklahoma did in fact have a 4.4 and 4.5 Richters Earthquake at some point apparently more than 7 days ago now and so expect California to get at least all of that!!! Never mind that 4.4 plus 4.5 equals 8.9 because that hopefully will not add up to anything here, but the time is now to start being prepared because there is the chance a Major Earthquake in that region will follow all the shaking in San Ramon!!! LOTS of Earthquakes Around San Francisco/Oakland!!! WATCH There Now For Something More Major To Shake!!! ALSO: 6.0 Richters Salta, Argentina Earthquake!!!

Getting LOTS of Earthquakes around San Francisco/Oakland and in case I do not mention this later in todays blog, it could mean somewhat of a Major Earthquake there!!! Although I know of only minor earthquakes heading for California, we have to watch and know there's always the chance something MAJOR could strike!!!!! Typhoon Koppu just made landfall at Philippines and this will now mean even MORE Major Earthquake Alerts for Chile!!! So all the more reason to keep watching Sumatra, Indonesia, too, because this new line is basically right along the same line we're already watching including Mandalay. I'll have plenty of time to update with all the details on Arica, Chile where this new line will intersect there because of course if you hadn't figured it out already. . . this new alert will be running all the way to January 1, 2016!!!

There was a significant Popular Bluff, Missouri Earthquake and I wanted to note all day long as we were working in Chicago the ground seemed to be rumbling! Although I work in Chicago enough to have learned not to pay any attention to all the ground rumbling even though at one point the building there seemed to have even shook! But I learned a long time ago to just not pay any attention to it because like a lot of other places it usually always turns out to just be a lot of train traffic or some other stuff that routinely shakes. . . and rarely an earthquake such as that one turned out to be. In fact I'll generally even take a moment to write down the time just in the event that I should look later to see where if anywhere there might have been an earthquake at that exact moment and right now it could have possibly been all the shaking in Missouri that we were feeling in Chicago, but since I did not write the times or any times down I can't honestly say. . . and it does even agree with the fact that it still COULD have been a train and not an earthquake since I don't know what time the building was shaking in particular! Anymore after having now taken quite a long while observing all this I also notice the ones I mostly feel were rarely earthquakes that show up and the tiniest ones that I always fail to make a note of were always the tiny earthquakes!!! Turns out that as of this writing it is now several earthquakes and here is that now updated list:

There has also been a 6.0 Argentina Earthquake and a reminder that such lines as the one we're following there, do occasionally go beyond the point where I designated the epicenter MIGHT be. . . and such as in this here case up into mountains where still MORE fault lines that could be susceptible exist and in this case turned out to be where this earthquake struck!!! Doesn't look like the Grand Finale to the Antofagasta Event, though so keep watching because this one should be a lot closer to the 7.7 that I predicted on "Earthquake Minute"!!! AND just noticed the moon high overhead and it's going to be FULL very soon and the October Full Moon is the date I predicted the 7.7 and possible tsunami to strike!!!

Lots of small earthquakes are now striking around Olympia, Washington! Here's a list of earthquakes from just the immediate region like within twenty miles of Olympia and be sure there's many more in the additional areas beyond twenty miles but this is a fairly huge list for just the real close ones! They go all the way south to Oregon and one or two was cross the line into Canada, too! Here's JUST Olympia, Washington:

3.5 Richters Strikes Big Bear City, California!!! So, Keep Watching California For 4.5 Richters Following Those Oklahoma Earthquakes!!!

This here story just sort of looks a little bit more important than all of the October New Moon stuff that I was intending to write about in todays EQ Blog until the 3.5 Richters Earthquake struck Near Big Bear City early on Wednesday and I saw how big the felt report was! Remember that they had TWO 4.4 and a 4.5 Oklahoma Earthquakes and so we are naturally watching California for the same!!! As a result of all that here is the felt report from the 3.5 Big Bear Lake Earthquake@ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2015/10/35-richters-big-bear-lake-earthquake-of.html AND we should continue watching for more like 4.5 Richters due to Oklahoma Earthquakes religiously shaking California NEXT!!! That means it is almost a sure thing California will be getting a 4.4 and a 4.5 and probably right on time, too!

The list of earthquakes that struck during the October New Moon Window is now complete and in addition to the 5.4 Richters San Cristobal Earthquake, includes a 5.4 Near Wellington, New Zealand, a 4.5 near Messina, Italy, a 5.9 Kamchatka, Russia with several big aftershocks, a 4.5 Near Rhodes Island, Greece, and finally one that shook just 15 minutes after the exact moment of course Oklahoma at 2.8 Richters.

I have said in previous EQ Blogs that I was going to run a complete list of all the places that could shake beyond that Turkey 5.4 but in the meantime and since I have been far too busy to dig all that out, I am now thinking that the main concern there is still the fact that Turkey could itself still get something in the area of upwards of 7 Richters so let us keep watching there for a few days, yet! Of course remember that whole region in general could be affected including Russia!

5.4 Richters Earthquake Strikes 107 Miles West Of San Cristbal, Venezuela!!! Still May Need To Watch For Upwards of 7 Magnitude For That Region!!!

Although the epicenter of this earthquake was a few miles west of the border between Venezuela and Columbia, it looks to me in every other way to be the bulk of all the Major Earthquake Energy that I and we have been watching for in that region! Not that they do not occasionally get a 5 Magnitude earthquake there anyways. . . so much as they indeed did get this one and right on time as we've been watching for! MORE California Shaking Following MORE Oklahoma Earthquakes!? ALSO: Here's This Weeks New Edition of "Earthquake Minute"!!!

LOOKS like the October New Moon Window started on the night of October 11 at 7:07pm with the exact moment of the New Moon being 7:07pm the night of October 12 and will run all the way through October 13th. This would probably be a good time to say this will increase the likelihood of earthquakes and in the case of this specific alert it will mean the end of the New Moon Window as Wednesday comes to an end. Somehow I did not catch the date and did not see it say new moon in my local newspaper where I usually get this information! I will check after the New Moon Window is over for the total of all the notable earthquakes that happened.

I want to say that the Hurricane Joaquin landfall at Bahamas might be connected to all the Oklahoma Earthquakes they're getting especially in recent days as big as one 4.4, and one 4.5 actually! That will probably mean there will be more Potential Earthquake Energy striking California although there had been no alerts up to this point for California!!! Now there might be and does that have anything to do with fracking going strong in Oklahoma. . . and causing California to shake? Or did all that earthquake energy from the landfall of Hurricane Joaquin at Bahamas shake Oklahoma FIRST, and then possibly California NEXT!? Either way all roads seem to lead to California right now and so expect that as usual, and I'm now saying "As Usual" because it's starting to now be a regular thing, California will probably get the same two 4.5 Richter Earthquakes as Oklahoma very soon! Or maybe Nevada will get them first, but we do know for sure one or both will get them!!! EQ Guy

Two New Predictions!!! Mandalay, Burma, and Antofagasta, Chile!!! PLUS: 2.5 Richters Struck Near Whittier, California!!!

No sooner had I said on-the-air during "Earthquake Minute" that Mandalay, Burma was the next upcoming Major Earthquake, then they had one there over this weekend! First you may like to check out that transcript from Fridays "Earthquake Minute" at EQ Blog-3: http://earthquakealert3.blogspot.com/2015/10/heres-transcript-for-earthquake-minute.html NOW Check out the maps where the landfall of Typhoon DuJuan started it all: I'm going off a basic drawing of how the landfall of Typhoon DuJuan looked at Taiwan to determine the direction all the Earthquake Energy might travel since these are now two of the biggest Major Earthquakes we will be watching for a while. You may notice a turn in the path just before that landfall:

I see it also says September 28 and so the days are counting there since that landfall although I don't know what day number that would be as I'm writing this. Still have some days to go, though since clock says it's October 10 so it couldn't be much more than Day 12 or 13. Big surprise and reason I'm running this drawing and the next one is because there was a 4.8 Richters Burma Earthquake just hours after I gave a prediction for Burma on "Earthquake Minute" if you saw the transcript!!! (Or actually heard the show)

I just noticed the RED LINE that I drew on this here pic crossed directly over the epicenter of the 4.8!!! Although the reason I'm running it today is because you can see where the line FIRST crosses the Tectonic Plate Boundary up there at China roughly where the boundary with Burma is or very near that boundary line between those countries up there. Now it's also likely as I said on "Earthquake Minute" that this will PUSH on that tectonic plate and put Sumatra, and Indonesia more at risk. Since Burma already got that earthquake, we know we'll need to be watching both places!

Is It Time For Next BIG Earthquake To Strike Sumatra, Indonesia??? ALSO: Listen To "Earthquake Minute" On Friday!!!

This is happening right now as I'm putting todays EQ Blog together and as I was looking first at where the new Earthquake Energy from landfall of Typhoon DuJuan may end up as it crosses China and then it occurred to me it might push at that tectonic plate boundary as it crosses there! Then, my next question was what direction that I thought the Indio/Australian might be moving as a result of that pushing. Now my main concern is the fact that I have to prepare all of this for Fridays New Edition of "Earthquake Minute" and by airtime I suppose I should decide if this is going to strike India and cross the tectonic plate boundary. . . or push on the tectonic plate and cause some Earthquake Energy around Banda Aceh, Sumatra, and Indonesia. Probably have to tune in and see what I decide!

So, not all that much to write about in the way of earthquakes today and I've been wanting to run this here link to that "Climate Change" Video and also now want to add that lots of places where I'm now visiting to look for dead trees are certainly revealing a lot of dead trees!!! Twitter Friend Writes: "It Happened Exactly Where U Said It Would Be"!!!!! ALSO: Keep Watching Because There COULD Be More Major Earthquakes Coming!!!

I heard back from my friend over IN Turkey where I had earlier given him the names of the towns where it might strike and today I first want to run that Twitter Message, it said as follows in reply to his asking me WHERE in Turkey, My Reply was, "I Tracked That Carefully And The Line Crosses Southeast Corner southerly like Erzurum To Antalya" and of course Antalya was the epicenter of the 5.4 and here is his reply to that on Wednesday, "It happened exactly where u said it would be!!! Lucky no one hurt. Thank you for your message. Take care!!!" For my best readers this is just another good EQ Alert because they have seen them all, everybody else please continue to read my EQ Blog and always know when the next Major Earthquake is going to strike!!! At the end of Wednesdays EQ Blog, I failed to have all the names of the Geographical areas that were ALSO situated along the Chile/Turkey Line, so for now I decided to run that pic one more time and you can even see where the line intersects Turkey!!! You might recognize some of the other places it crosses and right at the moment I'm watching where it heads towards Africa and want to say Italy and Greece might still be in line for a Major Earthquake as a result of 5.4 Turkey, but the line would have to be very close to Italy to be too concerned about that 8 Richters striking there! AND as you can see clearly it does cross Russia and China:

Prior to all the excitement that came along with the Turkey Earthquake, I was going to discuss the fact that I had decided to save my next two new "Predictions" following landfall of Super Typhoon DuJuan at Taiwan for "Earthquake Minute" Show on Friday. . . but now it's starting to look like it's going to be a pretty good episode!!! So plan on tuning in or catching the show online!!! As I continue to work at dialing in those two new predictions for something major to be shaking up in the area around New Delhi, India and one or two other areas so plan on listening on Friday if you want to be the first to hear those new predictions!!!

As of this writing I have not yet ran the globe/straight-line on the Hurricane Joaquin landfall at the Bahamas but have carefully checked the map due to the distance not being to great there, and for now let me say the primary direction that earthquake energy is heading is a straight-line towards Tijuana, Mexico but I'm concerned that Hurricane Joaquin did not exactly follow through and cross Bahamas there which is how a lot of the biggest earthquake energy starts in the first place so we may not even be talking real huge earthquakes there, maybe a smaller one for TJ. Maybe 5 or 6 Richters at the most and it shouldn't strike too much farther north than Los Angeles. Be Watching and Be Prepared Tijuana!!! EQ Guy

5.4 Richters Magnitude Earthquake Strikes TURKEY!!!!! Be Watching For LOTS More Shaking In That Region!!! 8 Richters Could Still Be Coming!!!

As of the deadline for todays EQ Blog, I have been unable to locate any information about this earthquake, although I can tell by the available statistical information that there had to have been some amount of damage there and will have update on that as soon as it all comes in! Moderate earthquake, of 5.4 Richters has occurred near Finike, Antalya, Turkey and here are all the details that I have located as of now:

Earthquake location 36.2273S, 30.1412WA moderate earthquake magnitude 5.4 (ml/mb) has struck on Wednesday, 7 kilometers (4 miles) from Finike in Turkey. The 5.4-magnitude earthquake has occurred at 00:27:31 / 12:27 am (local time epicenter). The epicenter of the earthquake was roughly 10 km (6 miles) below the earth’s surface. Exact time and date of event in UTC/GMT: 06/10/15 / 2015-10-06 21:27:31 / October 6, 2015 @ 9:27 pm. 1,117,580 people within 100km of the Event epicenter 90 km from Antalya, 758 200 population, 67 miles from Belek, 73300 population, 102 km from Fethiye 60 400 population, 11 miles from Beykonak with 30,300 population. Nearby country/countries, Turkey 77,804,000 population. (That might be effected)

2.6 Richters Strikes 22 Miles From Frankfurt, Kentucky!!! ALSO: 4.5 Nepal Earthquake 47 Miles East of Kathmandu!

One of the originals from the present alerts we are watching for had Nepal on it, but not sure what one that was, and can only tell you that the latest updates bypass Nepal, although that doesn't mean due to the way tectonic plates work that Nepal won't move because it still could. And it did because there was a 4.5 there and I notice no felt reports for being 47 miles from Kathmandu it must just mean nobody made a report to USGS because it was certainly felt at 47 miles.

Other alert that is coming up today is all of that Major Earthquake Energy going on with Hurricane Joaquin!!! Now Kentucky!!! Might look like just another earthquake but remember there could still be something shaking out there and that region is directly in the path of what could happen there as a lot of you may recall me saying on this weeks "Earthquake Minute"!!! More about that later.

Couple good updates to all that info: Looks like ALL those trees are still very much alive on the "Google Earth" version of all those locations because I went all through each of them and found every single tree that is today dead. . .was ALIVE in 2012!!! Or at least 2007 the last date on a few of the "Google Earth" pics. Also, just happened to be checking out Capistrano, California for some other reason and found LOTS of Dead Trees, there, too!!!!! About the same number of trees, percent wise but still a lot in peoples front and back yards the same as around Wisconsin! I'll keep checking now places on "Google Earth" and so can you check your favorite places such as Cherry Trees around Washington, DC, or trees around Yellowstone or Yosemite, maybe! Thank-You for your interest in that project, too, since it looks like it'll only be a few more years and ALL of the trees everywhere. . . will be dead!!!

One of those recent alerts I recall came very close to Nepal, although I have now double checked and did not actually have any of the active lines intersecting Nepal, more like New Delhi, India but here is a 4.5 that struck Nepal and got me wondering:

Hurricane Joaquin Landfall At Bahamas Will Mean Big Earthquake And Possibly For Tijuana, Mexico Region!!! OR Maybe Oklahoma/Texas?

Right this moment we are looking at a few smallish shakers that seem to be related to that Major Landfall at Bahamas of Hurricane Joaquin including a 2.0 that struck at 10:22pm Central Time on Saturday 34 miles Northeast of Macon and 74 miles East Southeast of Atlanta, Georgia. That's in addition to a small one that already struck near Charleston and upon checking it was almost the exact center of the 1886 Charleston Earthquake and here's hoping they do not get their next Major Earthquake there, although it has now long been accepted that all that rain and water CAN loosen up the tectonic plates and shake, shake, shake!!! 7.0 Richters just could be coming for that region, too!!!

I know we have been talking about Turkey getting a Major Earthquake for a little while now, but today I thought maybe I should clear up what all is going on with that. First of all as I was checking, I noticed Sunday was Day-60 after the landfall of Soudelor at Taiwan and sure it is not only time for something to strike up in that region, but I also want to say that the alert for Turkey, was actually the same Earthquake Energy we were watching for in Chile! Having watched several of these on my watch, I want to say generally as was the case with Cyclone Pam, there is first the New Zealand, then Kathmandu and on this one Chile should have been followed by Turkey but this is only a theory since I do not have a lot of such examples. After the landfall of Cyclone Yasi at Queensland, Australia there was first the Christchurch Earthquake and then the Honshu Japan Earthquake and I know of one maybe two others, but not so many as this where movement in the opposite direction did not produce an earthquake so we should keep watching! This Turkey alert does not actually run out until October 21, 2015.

Along with Turkey, I also just checked the alert for Venezuela and want to note that Columbia and Peru continue to shake so this alert will be on Day 43 on October 6 and that's a big day for Earthquakes with quite a lot of them shaking around 42 and 43 days after a landfall, be watching because San Cristobal could shake, yet!!! Category-4 Hurricane Joaquin Landfall At Bahamas COULD Mean Some Earthquake Energy For Our East Coast, Too!!! UPDATE: And NOW "Earthquake Minute"!!!

With a lot of islands out there in that region of the Atlantic where Hurricane Joaquin is now crossing over, it makes it possible there could now be more Earthquake Energy out there along our East Coast than has been recently and we might now want to expect a possible earthquake of maybe 4 or 5 Richters there!!! Later I also mention Ohio and New Madrid and it is important to remember places such as the Carolina's also get earthquakes and infact Charleston was one of the all time biggest one from the 1800's and there was also just a 2.1 Irving, Texas Earthquake so Texas and Oklahoma could get some of this new upcoming minimal sized Earthquake Energy from now the landfall of CAT-4 Hurricane Joaquin at Bahamas and Turks & Caicos!

I might have already told some of this story in yesterdays EQ Blog and I know I'll be talking about it on "Earthquake Minute" Friday if there is a show, but Hurricane Irene Landfall at Puerto Rico was followed by the 5.8 Richters Earthquake that struck around Richmond, Virginia and wrecked the Washington Monument, Hurricane Isabel's landfall at the Carolinas in 2003 was followed by an 8.3 Japan Earthquake, Landfall of Hurricane Hugo at Charleston was followed by the big San Francisco World Series Earthquake, and landfall of Hurricane Sandy was followed by 6.3 Richters Offshore San Diego therefore even this amount of new Earthquake Energy that already exists due to landfall of CAT-4 Hurricane Joaquin at Bahamas and Turks-Caicos is more or less guaranteed to do something!

Not sure if this here Ohio Earthquake has anything to do with the hurricane, but there was this 2.1 Ohio Earthquake yesterday:

So, I went and also checked and found this whole entire list of New Madrid Earthquakes as if something might be going on there, too! Not sure, but this could mean something bigger could also now shake that area, too!

These two earthquakes both happened in that region where it's been shaking over by Indonesia and seems to me it makes it possible that could be where they get their next earthquake. . . although I do not know of any current alerts for them, it is always possible they could get major earthquakes! As is the case with the following which coincidentally also struck very near Mt. Krakatu!!!

So, we might need to watch around Indonesia although I do not have any alerts for that region, just that they seem to keep shaking! Will definitely need to watch all the areas along our East Coast and as far as New Madrid and Oklahoma/Texas for some fairly good sized shaking due to the landfall of Hurricane Joaquin at Bahamas and I guarantee there will be some shaking from that one!!! At press time it does not seem to be certain where that hurricane will go from Bahamas, but several of those tracks similar to Hugo, Irene, Isabel, and Sandy are very much still in the cards up that way and those big earthquakes that followed could still very much become realities again if any such landfall should occur!!! Landfall of Super Typhoon Dujuan At Taiwan, AND Hurricane Juaquin Now CAT-3!!!!! Windstorms, Windstorms, Windstorms!!!!!

I want to assure you all that this was not what todays EQ Blog was supposed to be about!!! Hurricane Joaquin is now going over the 100 mile per hour mark and has a long way to go as it looks like it will continue to increase speed as it tracks along the Bahamas. In fact the latest winds were 125 as of 10am, and it is now currently a CAT-3!!! The very latest on Hurricane Joaquin as of 10am Central Time on Thursday is that it looks like it WILL Make a CAT-4 today!!! Did anybody say it was possible it could become a CAT-5???

BAD NEWS!!! For one thing there was that Landfall Of Hurricane Irene at Puerto Rico on August 21, 2011. . . which was of course quickly followed by the Richmond, Virginia Earthquake that shook Washington DC and damaged the Washington Monument at 5.8 Richters two days after that landfall on August 23, 2011.

WORSE NEWS!!! Hurricane Isabel was CAT-5 with winds 233mph and made landfall at North Carolina on September 18, 2003 although downgraded at landfall it was followed as all my best readers probably already have figured out, by a 8.3 Richters Japan Earthquake on September 23, 2003!!! THIS is the situation we are now facing and you can bet you will be hearing more about all this as that huge Hurricane Joaquin heads up the Atlantic directly for our East Coast!!!

Probably most important of all is to remember Hurricane Irene as it tracked past Puerto Rico did enough damage to probably be a factor in that 5.8 Richters Washington, DC Earthquake of 2011 and Hurricane Joaquin could easily do the same with Nassau or Bahamas!!!!! WATCH For DC or East Coast Earthquakes starting NOW!!! EQ Guy
