Mount Hood Earthquakes, Now!!! 5.4 Richters North of Anchorage With Big Felt Report!!! Mt. St. Helens Keeps Shaking With a New Video Earthquake Minute!!!

Last minute update looks like Mt. Hood shaking could be related to Mt. St. Helens . . . but anyways Mt. Hood continues to shake well into morning Central Time and I've now updated it as of 9am and look at the shaking!!!:

2.4 20km E of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-16 08:39:20
2.2 22km E of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-16 07:53:31
2.1 21km E of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-16 07:19:43
1.9 22km ESE of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-16 05:39:08
1.7 21km ESE of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-16 04:02:55
1.5 22km ESE of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-16 03:53:15
1.6 23km ESE of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-15 20:38:33
1.0 22km ESE of Mount Hood Village, Oregon 2016-05-15 20:17:43

Now continuing on, a 5.4 Richters Earthquake struck just far enough to the north of Anchorage that it generated a fairly big felt report and here's a link to see that at Earthquake Central@ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2016/05/54-richters-earthquake-136-miles-north.html And I actually still have written on a note in front of me that there was also a 5.4 Alaska Islands Earthquake that struck that same region and want to add that it now looks like they are TWO different earthquakes, I mean of course they are since they're obviously a thousand miles apart and the Anchorage one has that huge felt report. . . but probably no felt report from out there in the islands, albeit certianly someone out there indeed felt it SHAKE there!!!

At first all of these were looking like it could be something shaking around San Francisco Bay, but so far there hasn't been too much additonal shaking there just prior to press time, so keep watching the Mt. St. Helens Volcano just to the north for something. . . and I suppose in a roundabout way these could be foreshocks along those lines there, you know:

1.3 2km ENE of San Leandro, California 2016-05-15 16:26:39
0.9 8km WNW of Montalvin, California 2016-05-14 21:35:36
1.2 3km ESE of East Palo Alto, California 2016-05-14 04:18:42
1.4 3km SSW of Loyola, California 2016-05-14 02:50:09
0.5 4km SSW of San Bruno, California 2016-05-13 18:49:43
1.3 14km E of Portola Valley, CA 2016-05-13 12:20:35
2.4 8km ENE of Milpitas, California 2016-05-13 12:06:58

And a pretty good Video Edition of Mt. St. Helens "Earthquake Minute"!!! CLICK Arrow:

The entire list of all the earthquakes around San Francisco Bay actually now appears above due to editing, here's the biggest of the ones from this weekend there:

2.4 - 8km ENE of Milpitas, California

2016-05-13 12:06pm Central Time

Nearby Places
5 Miles ENE of Milpitas, California
6 Miles N of Alum Rock, California
9 Miles mi) NNE of San Jose, California
10 Miles NNE of Sunol-Midtown, California

I checked the felt report on that above one and it's fairly simple ONE Felt Report from Milpitas!

Couple more small ones shaking up around Mt. St. Helens:

0.7 38km NNE of Amboy, Washington 2016-05-15 02:49:13
1.9 7km SSW of Felida, Washington 2016-05-15 02:34:56

Now there was not only a fairly big 5.3 Richters shaker in the middle of the Pacific Offshore from South America, but this one shook early Sunday at Ecuador:

4.8 - 28km W of Muisne, Ecuador

Time
2016-05-15 04:51am Central Time

Nearby Places
17 Miles W of Muisne, Ecuador
49 Miles WSW of Propicia, Ecuador
59 Miles WNW of Rosa Zarate, Ecuador
80 N of Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador
133 WNW of Quito, Ecuador

There have also been earthquakes of 3.0 Northwest of Ottawa at Canada, and a 5.3 at Vanuatu. A 2.9 also shook 8 Miles South of Tehachapi, California on Sunday. Shouldn't be too much more shaking owing to no alerts at present, HOWEVER an earthquake could still shake anywhere at anytime so always be prepared! EQ Guy
