Readers in Northern California and Oregon might have noticed yesterday I mentioned that nothing had shaken yet at the Triple Plate Junction. . . and NOW there has been a small swarm up there around Eureka, and Coos Bay last night. For what it is worth the 5.8 Alaska Earthquake struck just one hour or so after Super Typhoon Bopha made landfall at the Philippines with wind gusts reported at 121 mph. The shaking at California seems like it is continuing and on appearance looks very much like all the shaking that preceded the Haicheng Earthquake which was very accurately predicted saving an estimated 100,000 lives!!!
