Severe Tropical Cyclone Pam--Bangladesh Earthquake Struck on Day 42!!! Now Watching For Only Smallest of Earthquakes!

UPDATE: Hard to fit this story in here under the headline of "Smallest Earthquakes" but there was a 6.7 out there in the far extended islands of Alaska at around 12:05am Pacific Time, here's the felt report at Earthquake Central: http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2015/05/67-richters-strikes-islands-of-alaska.html NOTE that a 6.7 Alaska may increase the seriousness of the information already posted in todays EQ Blog but I will try to have an update later today! Here's todays previously written EQ Blog:

It's right up there with a lot of the best forecasts for Major Earthquakes, too!!! Having also now gone back and re-counted all the numbers of days for this story, I've come up with some numbers that seem to look just a little bit different from the numbers that I generally tend to think I have memorized. . . but here they are. The landfall of Hurricane Bret at Padre Island, Texas was on August 22, 1999 and after covering Los Angeles and Southern California with my usual alerts in them days with the help of an old typewriter and some postage stamps, the Hector Mines Earthquake struck on October 16, 1999 or what now looks to be Day 55. And a re-count of the exact number of days with Hurricane Katrina officially making landfall on August 29, and the Islamabad Earthquake shaking on October 7, 2005 it is now Day 39. I want to add that most of these strike in the range of the first 20 or 30 days with some even striking as early as Day 3 or Day 18, and it has traditionally mattered how far the big windstorm was from the epicenter, but Hurricane Bret to Hector Mines could confuse you if you calculate off that one.

There was a small 2.3 Richters Earthquake just a few miles north of Evansville, Indiana early on Thursday with a considerable felt report of mostly Evansville, Indiana, but a few from as far as Hobart, Indiana!!!

City........State.Zip.USA..................................#.....Km

I know most of you are probably not familiar with what happens here at my EQ Blog when such a thing as no earthquakes ever does occur. When this should have occasion to happen over a long enough period of time as HAS HAPPENED before, I will sometimes start to fill some of the days writing about a lot of other things which is what I normally am doing from day to day anyways since WRITING is one of my major things that I have always done so I just always have a lot of other stuff to write about and might venture into some other writing to fill up a lot of what now looks like an upcoming ALL CLEAR!!! But, not just yet!!!

Like I said in Tuesdays EQ Blog, the numbers will be shrinking out there in that Indian Ocean/Australian Tectonic Plate movement ordeal we've been watching so closely for going on a long time now and neither that Super Typhoon Noul, or Tropical Storm Ana are likely going to lead to Major Earthquakes. In fact I last said 4.3 and before that night was even over a 4.3 struck near Eureka, California! That was all we were watching for, too, and a 2.3 Richters earthquake in Southern Indiana DOES NOT scare me, either!!!

Full Moon Window will start on Monday at 11:22am Central, but there should not be too much additional shaking. There may be some smaller amounts of shaking and possibly a smaller swarm, but I do not expect any major earthquakes. . . however always be prepared AND something could always shake, somewhere.
