By far the biggest surprise so far to strike during the July New Moon Window was the fact that this Nevada Earthquake actually started out a lot smaller than the now 4.6 Richters that they are giving it! Something in the area of 4.4 Richters, but still a big enough earthquake that it caught my attention immediately upon seeing such a large and notable spot on the map of latest earthquakes! It's been quite a long time since we had any shaking at all up there in that area where there was once quite a lot of shaking that went on for weeks and months like just last year. Not sure if this new round of shaking will result in hundreds more earthquakes like the last stretch of them or not.
There has also been a few other earthquakes that seemed larger than the usual such as it immediately caught my attention when I saw that a 5.2 Struck 48 Miles SSE of Mozambique at 09:10am Central Time on Wednesday! The reason this Mozambique Earthquake was particularly noticeable was from the fact that originally going back to the date of the landfall of Hurricane Blanca at Baja California, that line that runs up and into the Los Angeles area that we are watching so closely. . . might have possibly ran to the south and directly through that southern tip of the Continent of Africa and I might not have mentioned it. Although to be fair, this might also be connected with Typhoon Chan-Hom, too! But anyways, such lines do occasionally run across the Atlantic and down into that region and I suppose one might say I should have mentioned it, but having re-checked the line for the purposes of including this in todays EQ Blog, I should say it also looks like it might include parts of South America such as Chile or Argentina, too! And 5.2 is probably about what we are watching for there, too, of course that's now that one of that size struck you know. Since the alert that accompanies the landfall of Hurricane Blanca actually runs more like 6.1 to 7.3 it would probably be a good idea to watch those areas for something bigger yet to strike through the end of this present alert sometime in August!

We will next be looking at the end of the July New Moon Window coming now on Thursday Night at what otherwise might have been around 6:26pm Pacific, but as you might recall me discussing in yesterdays EQ Blog we should add a couple hours to that so it will then become like 9:46pm Pacific or 11:46pm Central Time or pretty much through the end of the day today! LOTS of shaking presently already going on everywhere, but let us continue to watch for a huge earthquake that gives this New Moon a name!!! 6.1 to 7.3 Richters is liable to still be out there in connection to this alert as well as the new alert for Mt. Vesuvius and Portugal and both of these alerts will continue on far beyond the end of this July New Moon Window, too! EQ Guy
Much more earthquake stuff I wrote all about in My E-Book, "Bringing Earthquakes To Life" @ http://www.eqalert2.blogspot.com Thank-You For Reading!!! EQ Guy
