UPDATE: 7.2 Richters Tajikistan!!! Felt Report now at Earthquake Central@ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2015/12/72-richters-earthquake-strikes.html NOW Todays EQ Blog:
Not sure why the particular earthquake that ran all the way up to 4.1 Richters goes on this list as "Denio Junction" when all the rest of them on the list at pretty much the same epicenter all seem to be Lakeview, Oregon and nevermind they aren't in Oregon! So, anyways the 4.1 appears on the list and was followed throughout the day on Sunday by several smaller ones and the shaking probably continues there, too.

In the past these have generally ended up leading to a Major Earthquake somewhere and occasionally up around Eureka and so that is why I changed this here to the top story today to note that there's still a few earthquakes we're watching for and I'm especially suspicous of the more unique epicenters that are coming up. . . because they suggest this could ultimately be a unique Major Earthquake Epicenter, too!!! so you can now add Denio Junction, Nevada and we should probably still watch Quebec, Iceland, and Illinois/Indiana for a BIG Earthquake for at least a few days, yet!

There was a 7.1 Richters Earthquake out there in the middle of the Indian Ocean, but the reason it may be significant would be due to the fact that I normally watch that region for anything and then wait for whatever might happen next only figuring out thereafter how the movement of this tectonic plate might have been a factor. Right now I'm looking at a 7.1 Richter earthquake that is so big it says there is no doubt something very big headed out there towards the Pacific Tectonic Plate next! Now right off hand there is not really anything headed for that region and although there have been like one or two big windstorms up around the top of that tectonic plate, but I'll have to look again for what affect this could have on the overall movement there since I'd up to now just been looking for movement along the usual "Straight Line" there. Possibly not the case and so we might now need to add a few additional places where we've not been looking for earthquakes such as Japan, Taiwan, and Philippines. I suppose it's also possible this movement was the cause of all the shaking at Sumatra following the landfall of Cyclone Meg or actually the shaking was during the landfall.
So, lots of shaking going on! I went and rechecked date of landfall of Typhoon Roke at Japan was September 21, 2011 and Oklahoma Earthquake of 5.6 that followed was November 5, 2011 or Day 45. With landfall of that big windstorm in Mexico having been October 23, then Day 45 after THAT landfall works out to TODAY!!! So be watching!!! EQ Guy
