At first glance I didn't know what to think about a 6.6 Mexico Earthquake. Knew there were at least a couple earthquakes floating around the Pacific, but did not know right off about anything headed for that part of Mexico although there had been landfall of a Hurricane Sandra nearby not too long ago. Checked that landfall to find it was considerably north of this earthquake. . . but this here epicenter was also far enough south that it occurred to me to check on one other alert that was for Costa Rica, and Nicaragua that you might remember me mentioning quite a lot! That alert this one is probably a part of would be from Tropical Cyclone Chapala at Yemen and Day 45 on that alert was yesterday! So I wrote it right onto the sheet at the same time as I was there checking it and have NOW accredited this one to that landfall. . . if you can believe Yemen was so near that Triple Plate Junction (TPJ) and apparently acted exactly as predicted:) Since that does at least appear to be so, then we definitely will need to keep watching Lima, Peru because then there are now officially now TWO big alerts heading for them, but I'll go into that plenty as the days begin to count on the second of those two alerts what just made landfall at Manila on Tuesday.
