Updating you on those snowfall amounts that I've been busy looking into and heard somewhere 80 Inches of snow at a place called Mount Baker!? Can't hardly believe it calculates to SIX FEET!!! That much snow, can that be possible in the Sierras? Well, if it is and the TV just so happens to be showing EVEN MORE Snow falling right this moment as I'm writing! (Sugar Bowl 58" Heavenly 38") This could or I might say WILL turn into a new alert for California! Maybe as big as a 6.5 Richters Earthquake for San Francisco, Eureka, or Parkfield just to name a few places that could shake into January with all this snow bringing on quite a lot of tectonic plate movement!
Lots of shaking also around Indonesia so I went to my sheet to see what this was all about and it looks like there is still at least one active alert for that region. I have a line on one sheet that says Sumatra and it's the result of the landfall of Cyclone Meg at Socotra Island on November 8 and it looks like December 22 will be Day 44 so there could be more coming yet with the full moon Friday, too! Here's the list I'm looking at just from the most recent 24 hours, there could have been more prior to these:

Exact Moment of the Christmas Day 2015 Full Moon will be on Dec 25 at 11:12 UTC, or 6am Central Time. Full Moon Window starts on the morning of Thursday, December 24 at around 6am Central Time, 4am Pacific and will run all the way to Saturday Morning. December 24 will also just happen to be about the final day of the Illinois/Indiana/Quebec/Iceland Alert with it ending on January 9. Did just say some small shaking up in that Greenland Sea Region, but not too much beyond your "Garden Variety" stuff. And landfall of Typhoon Melor was a few days ago so we might watch Laos and then all that much more for Lima, Peru down the road! Those could be big earthquakes, too, and I'll sure have more about it tomorrow and beyond! EQ Guy
