Unless something bigger comes in before press time, this here 5.8 just to the south of the southern tip of Africa is big! Not sure what it is telling us, though, and might guess there is significant movement over in that region. It's not actually too far from a Major Triple Plate Junction over on the other side of Madagascar that we normally watch to know that tectonic plate is moving, but combined with the next one I'm going to post tells me theres a LOT of movement there!!! And there was also a big 5.6 - 63km NNE of Al Hoceima, Morocco and again right there in that very shaky straight of Gibraltar where we're looking at it due to it being sort of direct in line with the landfall of Cyclone Winston in January. There was also this one that is notable for being one of the places we're watching: 4.3 - 3km E of Nagarkot, Nepal. They could get some of this due to the tectonic plate boundary we're watching being RIGHT THERE!
