That is quite a lot of Earthquake Energy, too! Just so happens to be right there around that same area where we are watching for any indication that the Indio/Australian Tectonic Plate is CONTINUING to move!!! And right there at Fiji is near Vanuatu, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea where it all started with the 7.7 and Tsunami.
So, as of this writing there is a certain amount of uncertianty as to whether the Indio/Australian Tectonic Plate moved North or South in that Kathmandu Earthquake. My original tracking located it up in that region due to my theory being the tectonic plate turned at the southwest corner and pushed north, but a report that came in on Tuesday says it moved SOUTH TEN FEET!!! Along with the fact that it apparently moved South and not North is the fact that they say it still has an additional 40 feet yet to move! All of this agrees with the fact that it was all started by that landfall at Vaunatu of Super Cyclone Pam and that it only generated so much Earthquake Energy and was preceded by the 7.7 at Papua New Guinea; Therefore only CAPABLE of producing in the area of the 7.8 Richters that it did in fact produce at Kathmandu, Nepal on April 25, 2015. Whatever potential stored earthquake energy might still be up in that region is there still waiting for the next big Earthquake Energy producing event to happen. Although this event is probably not over, yet.
Keep Watching around our East Coast for that next big Earthquake-Tsunami Event because the tectonic plates continue to move and the North American Tectonic Plate is NEXT in line for some shaking! That also means San Andreas Fault could be the next one to move TEN FEET! Be Prepared!!! EQ Guy
