Well, up to this point I have been observing very closely and even have ALL the most recent earthquakes now going directly to my phone and ringing on the LOUDEST setting!!! Caught a few of them starting late on Wednesday Night with one in Indonesia and one along the South Pacific somewhere. . . but the REAL BIG News is this one that rang on me just as I was leaving my local library and headed down the local RiverWalk! Could hardly believe it when I saw what it said, too! 5.4 Afghanistan!!! My only thought right at the moment it struck was how close this was to Turkey? Upon just now checking to see if it was worth writing about and it looks like this Afghanistan Epicenter is just beyond 500 miles from Turkey, therefore there WAS a big earthquake in that region, but let us continue to watch Turkey because the big one we're watching for. . . is a 7.5 Richters Earthquake and it is still out there!!! Meanwhile the ones we are currently tracking are Typhoon Nangka landfall at Japan on July 16 and will run through Mid-September for far East China, Russia and our East Coast; Super Typhoon Soudelor landfall at Taiwan on August 7 with 185 mph winds through early October for Turkey and San Felipe, Chile; And Typhoon Goni landfall at South of Japan on August 24 with 101 mph winds and that alert for San Cristobal, Venezuela will run through October 2015 so keep watching for all those, plus there is still a lot of time left of Atlantic Hurricane Season and Pacific Typhoon Season is just beginning!!!

One final check before posting of this EQ Blog and I now see that it was "East Pacific Rise" 5.4 Richters 1500 miles Southwest of Easter Island, but can't help noticing it's right along the path we're watching to reach Chile very soon and there's a New Moon coming this weekend, too! There was also a 3.7 39 miles Northwest of Ottawa, Canada on Wednesday felt in Rochester, New York! Keep Watching for more earthquakes because there are some biggies out there, yet!!! EQ Guy
