It was a day exactly like today that I walked in the door and they were showing the Haiti Earthquake. Happened at just after 4 on a day just like today, enough to make me think that just might happen again today! So, be watching ALL DAY Today for either the Next Major California Earthquake to strike in the 7 or 8 Richters range, or somebody else like Jamaica, Chile, or Japan maybe to shake! Now there is a great deal of more snow, and has since this original posting been huge additional snowfalls across much of Texas and Oklahoma. Combined with the additional foot of snow we are expecting right this moment here in the Chicago area and I must also say to keep watching in the event today is not the day.
The two most recent severe winter storms might serve to continue an alert anyways simply just in and of themselves however we are working off my theories here and the effect more snow has or might have is beyond how far I have studied this correlation. We will also be expecting higher temperatures the second half of this week and snow melting which will also reduce the concern. Finally, we generally hope not to get earthquakes in California and knowing this earthquake energy IS Heading there could be relieved if California DOES NOT shake today!
