I routinely check on all the latest earthquakes and was rather surprised tonight to find that there had been a small series of them up around Hollister, a 1.8 near Bodega Bay, a 3.0 near Anza, one at Boron and many, many others! Just saying we are watching for big ones up around Northern California and one around the far South of Los Angeles and all of the sudden the swarm now looks like it might be moving up towards San Francisco! Will a big one strike there in the coming hours, or move on up to Eureka and shake there?
There seem to also have been like 3 in Oklahoma, although I don't have the exact date and times on those. Finally my EQ Alert for New Madrid, Missouri, Illinois and Chicago is now 3 that have struck the previously very quiet New Madrid Region with the latest now being around Sikeston, Missouri and it looks like they are headed North I'm guessing into Illinois! Not sure if guessing is the correct word. . . maybe I'm telling you they are heading into Illinois? Keep in mind that that could still become as big as a 5+ Earthquake because it is the direct line with the path of Hurricane Barbaras landfall at the far South of Mexico on May 29.
This could be the final moments before NorCal, SoCal, or Illinois/Chicago gets a Major Earthquake! EQ Guy
