LOTS of Earthquakes Striking California!!! Big Hockey Game Tonight at Staples Center!!! Big Shaker???

Yet another series of earthquakes striking this Southern California area where we have been watching! Specifically these are striking a geographic region at the South of the Sulton Sea named Niland, 25 miles North of Imperial. Just added up 105 Richters totaled all day today and a few from yesterday. Also noticed the name Wrightwood on the list just now, too, and for guys who don't know that area up there, Wrightwood is situated directly on top of the San Andreas Fault and it turns and travels up the highway there and then turns again and heads North to Pearblossom. Wrightwood just so happens to be 19 miles North of Rancho Cucamonga! Enough said! Right this minute there is so much going on that it is difficult to say who exactly might shake next!!! Keep Watching that Wrightwood, Rancho Cucamonga Region!

Perhaps the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles where the Los Angeles Kings will play a game against the Chicago Blackhawks in about an hour and while it is VERY LIKELY there will be an earthquake during this game. . . it is impossible to tell how big, how far away, and if it will be the big one! AND This just in as I'm proofreading this EQ Blog. . . 5.2 Richters Hawaii with tons of felt reports already in!!! SEE USGS@ http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/pt13156000#summary

And be watching for the Los Angeles to SHAKE!!! Go Kings/Go Blackhawks!!! EQ Guy

I live in Monterey bay/santacruz area. I am planning on going on vacation tomorrow up north, ina town called coloma(near porterville) by the American river. Do u think there is any possibility of an earthquake occurimg in that area or in Monterey bay??

There is always a chance of earthquake in all of those areas as you probably know! While the current alerts do tend to include all of the San Andreas Fault, and Santa Cruz could end up getting a piece of that, it should not be near enough the epicenter to do much damage in just the coming days. It is also sort of unlikely for American River, although not impossible. I have most of the action in Southern California, but that's just me guessing!
Thank-You for your question!
