Big Swarm is continuing up at Northern California! This usually means something will be shaking at some point! That was until all the ones that struck just prior to this EQ Blog that I mentioned in the headline! So, the real big news for today is the fact that it now looks like ONE of those big two Major Earthquakes that we have been watching for is about now over! There will be that other one that is decidedly probably more major the result of that intensly much more long winded landfall of Typhoon Ramassun at Philippines over a long period of hours and which will usually result in an equally long, long earthquake sequence which up to this point I don't beleive we have seen. That one is yet to come and August 24, through August 27 are still very much key dates in that potential major shaker being Day 40 and Day 43. Day 43 is the day the Great Islamabad Earthquake struck after the landfall of Hurricane Katrina.
