3.7 Utah With The Felt Report And There Was Also a 6.1 Philippines Earthquake! UPDATE: 3.9 Richters Just South Of Long Beach!!!

Here is the felt report from the 3.7 Richters Earthquake that struck up there around the Provo, Utah region with one felt report coming in from Salt Lake City about a hundred miles north of the epicenter. Could be more earthquakes coming to that region and somewhere up there could get 6 or 7 Richters, too.

In addition to that Utah Earthquake there have now been several around California in the range of at least one being big enough that my phone rang tonight, so several in the 3 to 4 Richters Range and since we are still watching California for something major to shake, let us keep watching!

As the anniversary of the Great Sumatra Earthquake passed, there were a lot of great stories including a few about a train called The Ocean Queen Express that was washed over and off the tracks when the tsunami that followed that earthquake made it to Sri Lanka. Looks like Day 21, 22, and 23 after that landfall of Typhoon Hagupit and I did some double-checking on Monday to view that landfall one more time and should now say to keep watching Indonesia because it looks like we should expect at least a 7.7 since that was what they got after a similar landfall in November 2013 of Haiyan in the same region followed by a number of good sized earthquakes. (Actually December 30th IS Day 23 or the day Sumatra 2004 struck after landfall of Super Typhoon Nanmadol at Taiwan) My notes say San Francisco 5.7 to 6.0 Richters so continue to watch West Coast!!!
