First, unless any bigger Earthquake News comes in sooner, let's begin with a look at this weeks new EQ Video Log about that upcoming 10 Year Anniversary of Sumatra 2004, CLICK Arrow:

Now about that earthquake that just now had me searching all over Siberia to find the epicenter and everything else I found at the same time! Quite a tour of towns I couldn't even begin to pronounce the names of, and buildings and signs with similar names all in russian, of course! At last I located what appears to have been the epicenter and it looks like most unfortunately it is a huge set of brand new big giant buildings built outside of a town and near a big river. River name Taz? Ob River? Or are those russian language words that basically translate into nothing in English? So, just saying we might watch Siberia and that region for a distant chance of some Major Earthquake Energy, too! UPDATE: Location has been recalibrated to now be 19 miles East of Severomuysk, Russia. . . otherwise in every way the same, although not near the populated area first reported.
In other Earthquake News today is also the date of the 2003 Paso Robles Earthquake that struck at California on December 23, 2003. One of my first great "EQ Alerts" that was actually sent via E-Mail was dated something like December 12, 2003 saying we had a particularly severe winter storm and lots of snow and sub-zero temperatures similar to the conditions that led up to the Northridge Earthquake and several others throughout history. Some of those include Great Alaska Earthquake, and New Madrid. There have also been others since 2003 including Eureka 2010 and Haiti.
Update on my "Performance Page" and today here is the now updated complete list of countries since I started keeping track last week: United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Russia, Romania, Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Slovenia, Antilles, Malta, Romania, Malaysia, Guam, Philippines, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Nepal, Indonesia, India, Canada, and Australia. I'll try to watch for new ones, but I don't exactly have a memory type system to be able to know what ones have already appeared and keep thinking Italy is new every time I see it. . . when actually it's probably been on the list the whole time! List is therefore difficult to keep up-to-date and probably not really that important of information either.
If you missed it and I did not yet mention it here, although it was in the above V-Log, there were a couple of 5 Magnitude Earthquakes up in the islands of Western Canada even though nothing was heading for them and that could now increase the seriousness of the California and West Coast alert from landfall of that Frisco Pineapple Express so be watching West Coast along with the Indonesia Region for that up to 9 Richter Earthquake-Tsunami Event that COULD happen as the 10 Year Anniversary of Sumatra nears later this week.
