UPDATE: As seen right here in this EQ Blog!!! That 4.3 we have been watching for knowing it would surely follow the 4.3 downgraded to 4.2 at Oklahoma and then the 4.7 Arizona Earthquake STRUCK late last night, Wednesday Night south of Lakeview, Oregon North of Reno!!! If you can believe the fact that Oklahoma had been downgraded to 4.2, then you won't be surprised the magnitude was EXACT!!! Because this one was 4.2 also!!! It was followed by a 4.3 West of Ferndale and so continue to watch this series of 4.2 and 4.3 Earthquakes that are following the original 4.2 Fracking Earthquake at Oklahoma and may still shake at 4.2 Mammoth Lakes, San Francisco, Mt. Hood, La Habra, or etc. and full moon details also follow in Todays EQ Blog:
So, who got the date exactly right? I know some of you must have thought up a date when you added a few days to the date of the 2006 Korean Nuclear test which I will give you one more time if you missed it in yesterdays EQ Blog. . . Nuke Test was October 6, 2006 and the question posed in yesterdays EQ Blog was WHAT then was the date of a Major Earthquake that might have been expected to follow? ANSWER: October 15, 2006 or 6 days! If any more of you besides the one you can see in the comments section, got it right please let me know and I'll post it, too! I suppose in all fairness, I might have also asked if you wished to try guessing the exact magnitude of the Major Earthquake that would follow, but I'll just tell you it was 6.7 and we can move on.
The story about the Korean Nuclear Test all started of course with the fracking story for folks who follow this blog, but I have to add here that it is actually a result of the fact that I had intended to discuss the fact that it seems to me the days of Nuclear Testing in general had been stopped at least in part by the fact that it was being blamed for some of the seismic activity and perhaps might have been thought to be connected to it. I will need more time to fill in that whole story and in the immediate search for info regarding that, I ran into the Korean Nuclear Test and just went with that story for now, but there is more coming on that subject. Right at the moment I must prepare since I received an E-Mail saying I have been selected to do a One-Hour show on Milwaukee Radio possibly on Sunday Night or the following Sunday, waiting for confirmation! Full Moon will also be this weekend, with the December Full Moon Window starting early Friday Morning, not looking like any major earthquakes coming. . . might watch anyways for now, more about that in tomorrows blog.
There was also one rocket similar to the one taking off on Thursday Morning that accelerated to a speed of 5 Miles per second, although a search revealed that just so happened to also be the speed the Space Shuttle traveled at so I could be wrong about the speed the rocket took off at because that speed might have been a reference to the traveling speed once it lifted-off. Anyways on this particular take-off it was said the wells all went dry in the region of Florida where the launch took place. Not even sure if this was the same Space Coast used today or where exactly this event occurred at, but it was my understanding they were talking about the fact that they blasted off a rocket at about that same fast speed of 10 times faster than a bullet and the blast off affected the tectonic plates somehow. It seems this one also preceded that Great Chile Earthquake from like 1960 or so.
JUST IN: A 3.6 Struck just West of Palm Springs around noon Central Time and you can now see the felt report everywhere from Carson to Flagstaff!!! Sure to add shaking to the Los Angeles Area so be watching!!! Felt Report @ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2014/12/36-strikes-10-miles-west-of-palm.html
