7.2 Kuril Islands!!! Will Alaska, Seattle, California Be Next?
Just clicked on the latest earthquakes late tonight and seen at 10:05pm CDT a 7.2 Richters struck the Kuril Islands! This is the location that shook next after the big Craig, Alaska earthquake early this year and I was just wondering if the earthquake energy is now crossing the Pacific Tectonic Plate in the reverse direction and if Alaska won't be the next major earthquake in this "Series"? Here are those geographical regions one more time: Iran-Afg-Pakistan, Japan Islands, and now Kuril Islands. This could be considered worrisome and if they travel in anything resembling a line, then everybody probably knows Alaska is next along that line! Then Seattle! Then, well Mt. St. Helens would actually be next, but Offshore Oregon, TPJ, and then Calfornia! Who knows what place will shake next? Or when? I do know the moon was very bright tonight and it will be full next week! Start watching for this side of the Pacific to start shaking because they have really been shaking over on the other side and it should not be long before that earthquake energy gets to Alaska. . . then Seattle. . . then California! Let's keep watching for this one to be in the 5.5 to 7 Richters range as soon as about another day or so! Be Prepared! EQ Guy
