This was just the latest in an all day event that started early today with a small swarm at Calexico/Mexicali, and then Boulder City, Nevada and Borrego Springs around Noon today! You can see all of that and the smaller felt reports and times for all of those earthquakes at todays early EQ Blog @ http://earthquakealert.blogspot.com/2013/12/boulder-city-borrego-springs-calexico.html . . . I see there is also a write up there about going all the way back to last night and the small San Jacinto Swarm that shook kind of the same region.
I guess you could say that is why I decided to write another EQ Blog entry this evening is because that January 2014 New Moon Window is effective right about now although the exact moment is January 1, 2014 at 11:15 UTC or 5:15am Central, 3:15am Pacific and therefore the window will open at that time in the morning TOMORROW!!! Depending on your location. So let us say to start watching TONIGHT at least a few hours before that New Moon Window actually begins because every so often one strikes just moments before!
