I had not sent this EQ Blog to press yet, when my phone started ringing in the other room on the charger with this larger than your usual "Garden Variety" Earthquake of 3.8 Richters 24 Miles Northeast of Santa Rosa, California and just a few more miles north of San Francisco and Sacramento, California. We will probably have to keep watching through Friday and all through this weekend now as I go on to say in the remainder of this EQ Blog that was already written when this earthquake occurred just now actually still only 10 minutes ago as I am writing. UPDATE: Here is the complete Felt Reports now including Frisco!!! @ http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2013/12/felt-report-from-early-friday-december.html Now, Keep Watching California! And now back to todays EQ Blog:
Went to look up the latest earthquakes to see where exactly this 3.0 that struck Oklahoma was at exactly and when I brought up the map to see the exact location I have to admit to being just a little bit surprised. . . . . or perhaps ASTONISHED might be the word! I can't even believe the list as I am here typing it all out due to it being so unwieldy! So I decided to just copy and paste the whole entire list here and look at it later to try and figure out all of what might be going on over in the Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and etc. region as far as all those earthquakes is concerned! 34.6 Richters all totaled for that region including one in Reno, TX and that 2.2 Northwest of Tiptonville, Tennessee over in the middle of the New Madrid Fault Region. Here is the list:

Sunday will be Day 21 after that big series of Major Tornadoes in Illinois and Indiana and so I think it is safe to say that Friday is Day 19 and Saturday will be Day 20 and these are now obviously going to become Major Dates in the history of tracking this sort of Major Earthquake energy. Seems pretty obvious there is a correlation with the large number of tornadoes, but that's just my theory, again. The way they are shaking right now we shouldn't have to wait until Day 31 on December 18, or Day 33 on December 21, 2013 to come up with a Major Earthquake like say California!!! Rang is still 6.0 to 7.3 for this one! Just sayin' there was also a 2.3 that struck 1 Mile WSW of East Los Angeles earlier today, too! So, as usual I am always inclined to want to watch for something major to strike directly under Los Angeles like that Long Beach Fault line that shook the city all up in 1933. . . I now have to add San Francisco because I was not done writing this blog when the above 3.8 Struck Santa Rosa and it will now be a long night and a very long Friday waiting to see what might shake next, or where!!! Be Prepared!!! EQ Guy
