2.5 Redlands, 2.4 Waimea, Hawaii, and 2.1 Near Lake Los Angeles, but not much else!!!

Looks like that might be all we are going to be getting for the near future is those little 2.5's and 2.4's scattered about California. I did notice there are still those few Mammoth Lakes and Volcano, Hawaii earthquakes but according to my calculations that should even be about the end of those, too! I'm very sorry to all the folks who were anxiously awaiting a big huge major earthquake which for the longest time was very much evident that it was about to happen. . . starting in Virginia City, going on to Mammoth Lakes as of course you already knew if you read my EQ Blog, and ending up out in who would have guessed Hawaii!!! And of all places a spot out there in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that just so happens to go by the name of Volcano!!! Then that movie came along, too, but nevermind that part!

Somewhere along the way there was even the albeit smallish earthquake that was reported by the new to have actually had its epicenter right exactly at the middle of a volcano out in Hawaii, and methinks it was the Volcano, Hawaii one, too!

More snow and winter conditions are presently in the area of the northern states, but for one thing it is not nearly as cold, and for another the snow continues to melt with ever increasingly warmer days in our future! No longer the sub-zero temperatures that now famously preceded a lot of the major earthquakes I've been discussing in my EQ Blog you know. Of course I always have to mention the fact that it is also the method by which we know there probably will not be any more major shakers for some time to come, and how I already know from lots of experience at this, that I will be right!!! Again!!! We will be waiting now for the start of Typhoon Season, Hurricane Season, and Tornado Season, that is unless there may still be some of the Tropical Cyclone Season remaining in the Southern Hemisphere and there could well be.

So, we will now continue for safetys sake to watch for 5.9 to 7.5 Richters of some left over earthquake energy that just could still be lurking out there, although we can also keep an eye on the Mammoth Lakes Swarm to see if it continues to lessen or comes to an end which hopefully will also signal the end of all the earthquake energy. We will see!!! Thank-You for Reading!!! EQ Guy
