Please allow me to start out todays EQ Blog by saying that this weeks Video Blog has some fairly good stuff in it from Beautiful Downtown Chicago and I must ask people to Click and watch a little so that I can actually tell if I should continue to produce those Weekly Videos because at this point they are taking a lot of resources and this weeks alone all totaled comes to over 1 Gigabite which I will have to figure out how to burn to a disc for storage and as you know that's a lot of weekly storage! So here is that vid and I will continue to produce these at least a while into the future and Thank-You for Watching!!!
I also have the felt report form Sundays "Aftershock" of like 3.2 that struck about the same place in South Carolina as the one on like Friday: http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2014/02/32-near-columbia-south-carolina-here-is.html AND there was also a 4.2 that struck near Oklahoma City with a huge felt report but enough felt reports for now, and just as I was about to write my phone rang with a 5.8 at Philippines that we will have to wait into Monday for reports from, but does not look like a tsunami and is a number of miles from major populations including about 100 miles from Mindanao.
Here is the last 24 hours at Mammoth Lakes and there appear to be fewer earthquakes at this point and I notice they are much smaller with 1.7 being about the biggest and lots of 0.8 or less! Updated: 2014-02-17 00:31:38

IF it does indeed appear Mammoth Lakes is running its course then there will be just that one chance a swarm could continue on at another location and two possibilities that have been shaking in the last few days are San Simeon, and Lone Pine! So watch all those places as well as Oklahoma, and the Carolinas because if Mammoth Lakes stops shaking. . . . . someone else could START!!! Or get a Major Shaker!!! Thank-You for Reading!!! EQ Guy
