Striking very early this morning as many of my Los Angeles friends know and upon checking I found that there were actually 2 of these that struck around the intersection of the 10 Freeway with the 57 Freeway in the East L.A. Neighborhood. Epicenter of 5.9 Richters 1987 Whittier Narrows Earthquake just a few miles away did $358 Million in damage according to Wikipedia @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whittier_Narrows_earthquake Of course the biggest numbers of felt reports all came from those towns in that immediate area such as Covina, La Verne, Diamond Bar, Glendora, Pomona, and Rancho Cucamonga, but felt reports also came in from Seal Beach, Riverside, North Hollywood, and Los Angeles. Due to all of this going on right there in the heart of L.A. and with a lot of hours still remaining in the September 2013 Full Moon Window. . . we have to keep watching because there is just that ever so small chance that one of these huge ones could pick that region to shake! It really wouldn't be too bad of a time to run over to the Stater Brothers store on Colima and grab a few extra bottles of Arrowhead Water and a couple extra loaves of bread and some peanut butter just in case. And locate crow bars, extra blankets and anything else you might want handy in an earthquake emergency now. Earthquake Preparation is always important and right now might be a good time to think about it.
Yesterday I noticed several earthquakes nearing Helena, Montana and double-checked the line of new earthquake energy from the landfall of Typhoon Man-Yi and found it crossed near Helena! Therefore I thought it might be time to write and file an Official Prediction! For the remainder of the September 2013 Full Moon Window that will run through tomorrow, continue to watch Japan, Anchorage, Juneau, Guadalajara, Mazatlan, Helena, and I suppose Los Angeles and all of our West Coast because we are actually watching for earthquakes now coming from several sources and any of these can strike with that big giant full moon overhead!!!
