As of this EQ Blog, I haven't quite figured out where all the earthquake energy that struck at the state line between Arizona and New Mexico might have came from. The best I can figure it with Texas being right in there very near that border region along I-10, too, is that according to my master sheet with all the potential sources of earthquake energy it looks like Hurricane Amanda must have been the culprit! Boris and Cristina hovered around that region and Boris also names "TX, OK" right there on the same sheet, but Hurricane Amandas landfall on May 27, 2014 brings us out at exactly June 27, 28, and 29, 2014 and this now big Tuscon Area Earthquake just so happened to have struck on that exact date, whichever one it was local time. On another subject that I mentioned in my Sunday EQ Blog and that is the fact that I was not sure of the location of one Visokoi Island. Having now just looked at the complete USGS Report on that 6.9 Richters Earthquake it looks like Visokoi Island is out there in that far Southeast Atlantic region of Falkland Islands and Argentina. In yesterdays blog I was thinking Argentina meant Pacific being far South of South America. I stand corrected, but also today have to add that in addition now to the fact that there was just a 6.9 at Visokoi Island, there was now also a 5.8 that struck 583 miles NNW of St. Helena Island also out there in that Atlantic not Pacific Region!!! Could, just could be something going on now over in that occasionally shaky Atlantic Region that just so happens to also have a very heavily populated region of our very own East Coast. And at least one alert headed far up there into that Chicago-Iceland Region that could possibly come to include New York, Washington DC, and Boston Regions, too!
Therefore, the line that traveled in that direction from those hurricanes seems to be very active, and there was also one I noticed for Ecuador, and Peru that should be notable when it strikes, too, as well as Philippines and Jakarta, Sumatra, Indonesia that should be significant when it strikes, too. Upon close examanation that appears to be everything happening with the exception of tornado strikes and absent those paths on the ground we would need in order to have some idea where those earthquakes might be headed. So, let us watch California and West Coast due mostly to all the swarms that they had been getting knowing that is also a serious form of earthquake energy and California is very often the recipient.
