JUST measured from the Epicenter of that Swarm to Spirit Lake and the Cauldron of Mt. St. Helens and came up with TEN MILES!!! All of this just happened tonight and is difficult to keep up with! There IS a lot of earthquake energy still out there as most of you know who keep up with my Earthquake Writing and there is still a long way to go on the Earthquake Energy from the landfall of Super Typhoon Utor at Philippines! COULD result in something Major, yet, and it is most likely what all the shaking is all about right now as I'm writing todays EQ Blog! So, continue to be watching California and our West Coast for more like that and hope California does not get the Grand Finale from this one. . . or our West Coast for that matter! Might be pushing the Pacific Tectonic Plate NORTH, so maybe watch North of those two and up into Seattle, and Alaska for that Earthquake Swarm to continue pushing NORTH!!! I am also wondering how close and serious this Mt. St. Helens Swarm might be to danger of a Major Eruption there so be watching that region, too!!! West Coast and Alaska Be Prepared!!!!! EQ Guy
