August Full Moon!!! Anniversary of Yellowstone Earthquake!!!!! What Could Happen??? Watch at MOONRISE!!!

The August 2013 Full Moon will be at exactly 6:45pm Pacific Time Tuesday Night, but the Full Moon Window already started a few hours ago and the Full Moon looks to very much already be high overhead! Everybody should be watching now for something to shake, although it seems mostly to be for Chile, and Peru. . . our West Coast is also situated out there on the edge of that Pacific Tectonic Plate, with the actual boundary being more on high land there, you know!

The anniversary of the Great Yellowstone Earthquake of 1959 happened on Saturday and so just for entertainment purposes mostly I looked up all that info and found some surprising stuff as you can probably imagine!!! Attention Weather Channel:) Of course I naturally went right for "Hurricanes of 1959" knowing that HUGE Earthquake was probably just preceded by a Major Hurricane that made landfall at Port Arthur, Texas and turned inland pushing the tectonic plate against the mountains up around Montana and Idaho and causing that Major Earthquake up in that region.

Well, guess what I found!!! I found Hurricane Debra making landfall as a Cat-1 Hurricane at Galveston-Port Arthur, Texas and making a turn across Oklahoma with a Major Remnants Problem as it tracked up into Montana and Idaho!!! Yes, read all about it here and check out July 31, and August 1, 1959 @ http://docs.lib.noaa.gov/rescue/mwr/088/mwr-088-08-0279.pdf ALL of the lightning and rain associated with that huge windstorm and very nice drawings of all the counties, although I never actually figured out exactly what county the earthquake that struck 17 days later was in. Maybe Gallitin. When the earthquake struck right there in the middle of all of those lightning strikes, it was a 7.3 to 7.5 Richters. Citation: Wikipedia @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1959_Yellowstone_earthquake Of course while all my regular readers are now all through with this brand new correlation that came across as rather "Easy Peasy". . . there will still be somebody, somewhere saying, WHAT???

Watch that Full Moon everybody!!! Exact moment early Tuesday evening just about at MOONRISE!!!!! EQ Guy
