Some of you already know by the fact that the landfall of a Super Typhoon just occurred today that something is up. We may not be all through with UTOR, either, due to the fact that UTOR looks like it will be crossing that huge body of water between Philippines and the mainland there. China Sea? It shouldn't be too much of a surprise that my phone started to ring, ring, ring in just the immediate hours following that landfall with a LOT of earthquakes now striking China and I have not got a chance to see exactly where in China, but I will most likely guess the tectonic plate boundary with the Indian Ocean Tectonic Plate. Could also already be pushing against it due to Indonesia already getting a 6 Magnitude earthquake and Off Shore New Zealand also getting a 6.0 Richters Earthquake. That does NOT exactly mean that our West Coast is immediately next in line for a 6. It could take at least another couple days for that to happen, probably. I will have updates on the timeline on this new earthquake energy early this week.
Remember that their are still other EQ Alerts going on and California is still getting quite a lot of small earthquakes that I will also write more about. Those biggest of the California Shakers that struck since I last wrote Saturday: 2.7 Mission Hills, 2.9 Big Bear City, 2.3 Kettleman City, 1.9x2 Pine Valley, and beleive it or not the name Vandenberg even came up once! AND Just in a 2.3 at Redwood. We also have to remember to keep watching New Madrid and Missouri and there was another 2.0 at Ridgley there as well as a 4.8 out at Hilo where we started watching after the landfall of Hurricane Flossie out there and that could still mean shakers at Columbia, and Ecuador and there may still be something at Chile, and Peru.

Note that a lot of these earthquake have not struck yet and there will now be something Major striking following the landfall of Super Typhoon UTOR, even if it is another 6.6 in the mountains of China, we might still get the message to China, Japan, and Banda Aceh that there probably IS earthquake energy heading for one or all of them!!!
