Those were the shakers that rang my phone during the night, although Ferndale was .3 short of a text message, just added that one in there because it indicates along with the others that Day 21 after the landfall of Super Typhoon UTOR at the Philippines is tomorrow, followed by Day 22 and 23. The Great Sumatra Earthquake was Day 23 after a quite similar landfall of Super Typhoon Nanmadol in 2004, so I automatically just like to say watch out as Day 23 comes around once more knowing whatever day number this probably still upcoming major earthquake lands on. . . will either be Day 23 again or add yet another day in that area to the dates these earthquakes happen.
Big news is the one that struck Northwest of Nellis out in the "Area 51" region of the unknown up there North of Las Vegas where I just so happen to have explored myself and when I checked that area just now courtesy of Google Earth, this is what I found:
There was also a 2.1 at Kettleman City, a 2.2 near Santa Rosa, and several at Aquanga since my last EQ Blog. Keep Watching just on the outside chance that California will become affected by that one single source of major earthquake energy that is still out there and runs through September 2013.
