Not sure if this will be the next Mt. Vesuvius, Mt. Fiji, or Mt. Krakatau, but as of just having heard this now it sounds as though we will be hearing more into the future about the recent eruption of the Sakurajima Volcano at the Southern tip of Japan! The report I heard said the nearby town has a population of 600,000 and a check of Wikipedia revealed the capital city of that region, Kagoshima, has a population of 600,000 so as of this moment I can not say for sure how bad this is besides having heard ash several miles into the sky. Do not know if this will become pyroclastic flow or if it could bury the city such as occurred in 79AD at Pompeii which was buried under 15 to 20 feet of ash @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pompeii
Full Moon was high in the sky last night although still a good hour ahead of rising at the same exact moment as the sun is setting. . .how I know when it is full. When it is already in the sky just after sunset then I can now tell you it has a ways to go before rising on the horizon right at the moment of sunset on the night of the Full Moon!!! Start watching, because the August 2013 Full Moon exact moment is August 21 at 1:45UTC!!! OR exactly 8:45pm Central Time on August 20, 2013 meaning the Full Moon Window actually STARTS at 8:45pm tomorrow or 6:45pm Monday Night Pacific Time!!!
As I like to say sometimes, too, the risk of Major Earthquakes tends to go up even in the hours BEFORE that window starts, so basically anytime starting tomorrow afternoon!!! While we will especially watch Peru, Chile, Sichuan, and Banda Aceh. . . we might also want to watch Easter Island Region, Nepal, our West Coast and Central America! And that volcano in Japan!!!
It is looking rather certain that somebody, somewhere WILL SHAKE inside of this upcoming August Full Moon Window!!! Be Watching and Be Prepared!!! EQ Guy
