3.8 Richters Strikes Big Bear City, California!!!!! HUGE Felt Report!!!

First you should probably check out this weeks new EQ V-Log if you missed it!!! CLICK Arrow to watch:

Now the big story today if it doesn't change before press time is the 3.8 or 3.9 depending on where you heard it that struck up very near Big Bear City around 1 today Pacific Time. One report has this one being very close to the San Andreas Fault, but as far as I'm concerned the main point with this earthquake would be that it struck very near the epicenter of another possible tornado resultant or the Landers Earthquake of 1992. Todays epicenter of which I now notice USGS has posted at 3.8 looks to be like 30 Miles from the Landers Epicenter, but just 3 or 4 miles from the epicenter of the 6.5 that struck near Big Bear City just about 3 hours after Landers. So, just saying we are still watching as May 25, and May 27 are Day 31 after the recent big tornado outbreak and days we will especially need to be watching! Just so happens that Big Bear City and Landers are also PLACES we might now especially need to watch, too!!!

Here is the felt report from the 3.8 Big Bear City Earthquake, updated at 8:40pm Central Time: http://eqalert.blogspot.com/2014/05/38-big-bear-city-earthquake-of-108pm.html

There was also a 4.1 in Germany over the weekend that seemed worth mentioning! Here is a great story about that and a lot of felt reports that appear to be half German and half English: http://www.volcanodiscovery.com/earthquakes/quake-info/680222/M4.1-Sat-17-May-2km-ENE-of-Weiterstadt-Germany.html

Keep Watching California for another 6.5 or 7.3 such as was that Landers Earthquake that followed the Great June 1992 Tornado Outbreak!!! Also haven't heard no more about our Great Friend Sir Paul McCartney so let's continue to wish him a speedy recovery from the virus! Thank-You Again For Reading!!! EQ Guy
