I even thought I should bet a couple dollars on California Chrome and won back three dollars on my little two dollar bet of "California Chrome To "Win". . . and he won!!! Now looking forward to the final leg in the Triple Crown in a couple weeks, The Belmont Stakes out on Long Island in New York!!! Looks like it is going to be a record crowd for that one according to Wikipedia where the 2004 race was like 120,000 for the last horse that ran for the Triple Crown, Smarty Jones. Just something I like about the name "California Chrome" and names of horses just so happens to be one of the main ways I pick a horse, as if it isn't the way everybody picks them, too, you know! Although I've lost twice now on one named "General A-Rod" just sayin'. . . he might even show up in the Belmont! But, do I bet two more dollars on him?
As I ran down the list of all the latest earthquakes for todays EQ Blog, I started to notice there were a lot of Oklahoma Earthquakes, and while I realize this list also contains 2 Texas earthquakes, all combined they could be trying to tell us something! IS that ultimate big Oklahoma Earthquake getting nearer? Having had some time to think about it, as a general rule when such huge swarms collect around any one given region such as in this case Oklahoma, it's usually at or very near the epicenter. I must add that is rudimentry science gathered only from bits and pieces of memory of just a few events where this did happen and it's possible there are other similar events where it didn't happen. With that I might predict an eventual 6 or 7 Magnitude Earthquake. Although thinking about it they did already have a 5 and the swarm theory states that they would also still need at least one more in the 5 range first, before it would be expected that a 6 or 7 would strike.

Finally there was another small series of earthquakes at Iquique, Chile consisting of at least a 5.5 and 4.6 as well as a 5.9 Pacific/Antarctic Plate Boundary Earthquake as well as a 4.5 Nicaragua and 5.1 at Old Crow, Canada, therefore the Pacific Plate is making one last final after-movement and we will be watching Anchorage and our West Coast for one more 5.5 telling us the Pacific is on "Aftershock Movement" from the last big series of shakers, only this time they look like they will all be in the 5.5 Range!!!
