The word "V-Log" is a combination of the word Web-log, and Video Web Log and so if you've been doing this long enough you already know all the meanings and my EQ V-Log is the result. Of course some people like to pronounce it vlog like the word log with a v in front of it!

Whole lot of California Earthquakes to report! Starting with one that struck very near Palm Springs early on Monday!!! As you can see Palm Springs has almost 50!!! It was also felt in San Diego, Escondido, and Vista! Here is that entire report and will need no updates:

There was also a 3.4 that struck up around Tehachapi and was felt in Sacramento. These are good medium sized earthquakes and it is my opinion we should continue to watch now for more! The January 2014 New Moon will be at exactly 1:41pm Pacific Time on Thursday, January 30, 2014 and the New Moon Window will begin on Wednesday and run through Friday so we will need to be watching especially close this week since there HAS been enough severe winter stuff that there is no doubt in my mind a major earthquake is coming and it just could affect California. Temperature here is forecast to be like -25 degrees tonight and high tomorrow no more than something like -10 degrees and so there is some precision plate tectonics there!

There were also reports of booming sounds around Paducah, Kentucky in the days before Sundays 2.6 Richters Earthquake there and so it really has me thinking. . . is the next major New Madrid Region Earthquake coming???
