5 Earthquakes Strike Oklahoma Saturday!!! Congratulations San Diego Chargers, and San Francisco 49ers!!! Sorry Green Bay Packers:(((

They kept on coming, and coming and I couldn't believe my eyes every time I checked the listing for the latest earthquakes a new! I knew there had been a couple that struck Oklahoma earlier in the day. . . and every time I seen more of them it made me at first wonder if I was mistaken. I checked, double-checked, and re-checked the times on each and every one of them to make absolutely certain this was happening and then at least once had to scroll down to make sure the first two were still there and had not been relisted with like different names and some other changes that might have been the cause of the confusion. No, that turned out not to be the case here, rather it was in fact more, and more earthquakes that continued to keep right on striking Oklahoma on Saturday!!!

Before the shaking was all over with they had a lot of it, too! The running total that made the USGS list as of the end of the day on Saturday was 2.1--2.7--3.2--3.5, and the biggest and last one to strike there came in at a 3.7 and leaving me and probably a lot of other people down Oklahoma way wondering what would happen next? As I watched throughout the day at the sight of them getting bigger and bigger it almost struck me as conclusive that they could possibly get so big that subsequent ones might even eventually reach a 6 or 7!!! I suppose that could possibly still happen yet, you know!!!

Then, upon checking first thing this morning. . . nothing! That's Right, no new earthquakes listed for Oklahoma throughout the night or early Sunday Morning, either? Wow! All of that led so far up to the 3.7 being the last one in the series? No more earthquakes struck there beyond the 3.7 and even right up to now as I write. EXCEPT, for the fact that if you are really keeping close track and it might perhaps matter to you there was a 2.8 that struck 72 miles west of Great Falls, Montana hours after that one, and about the only other big earthquake type thing that might matter to anybody in that period of time is that huge Volcano brewing over in Indonesia, just saying!

A 2.9 struck 48 miles south of Lincoln, Nebraska at a minute or two before Midnight Central Time with now updated 13 felt reports from Wymore, Nebraska 68466, the town listed as 10km East of the epicenter as well as 1 each from 2 different Zip Codes in Lincoln, Nebraska as well as a total now of 6 other Nebraska towns and one in Kansas, too!. Also a 2.6 struck Anza, California with the following felt reports that just looked interesting:

CITY.....ZIP...CA...USA............................................#.....KM
Highland (92346)CA,United States of America............1.....95 km
Imperial Beach,California,United States of America.....1....119 km
Mountain Center (92561)CA,United States of America..2.....12 km
Palm Desert (92260)CA,United States of America........2.....23 km
Rancho Mirage (92270)CA,United States of America....1.....31 km
San Diego (92154)CA,United States of America...........1....114 km

Monday will be Day 60 after the landfall of Super Typhoon Haiyan at Philippines and technically there will be no more reason to follow that possible earthquake energy. . . might watch that big huge volcano over there a few more days though because I don't know, maybe we could have one that will break all the record books? Big Volcano? Not sure, there!!!

Finally it was a Great Game of NFL Football today as the San Francisco 49ers traveled up to the cold, cold little town of Green Bay to take on the world famous "Green Bay Packers" and I can now report that final score was in favor of San Francisco!!! 23-20 and let me tell you it was a CLOSE ONE, too! Tied 20-20 right up to 3 seconds left on the clock! In other news the San Diego Chargers also won their game and now both California teams will be playing in the "Elite Eight" next weekend! My deepest sympathy goes out to Green Bay, though, sorry that Frisco advances at the cost of their season coming to an end:(((((

Congratulations Chargers, and 49ers!!! The EQ Guy
