3.5 at Prague, Oklahoma!!! Also Small 2.5 Near Baker/Ludlow, California

Probably worthy of it's own entry into my EQ Blog is the one that actually surprised me when I saw it late Wednesday with the actual moment that it struck being 9:26pm Central Time at 6 Miles Northwest of beautiful downtown Prague, Oklahoma!!! Actually just now checking it is just as I suspected only like a mile and a half from Prague Lake where the campground that I visited during the big 2011 Earthquake there of 5.8 is located. The epicenter of Wednesday Nights Prague Lake Earthquake is exactly ONE MILE Northwest of the epicenter of the big 2011 Prague Earthquake, and the epicenter of that one from late on November 5, 2011 is about a mile and a quarter West Northwest of the campground and that is also about the site of the dam that forms that reservoir there.

Now hear this! There remains quite enough earthquake stuff going on and there was also a 1.9 that struck 6 miles south of New Madrid, Missouri so I just want to announce one more time that one of those places or St. Louis, Illinois, Chicago, or Indiana could get a whole lot of whatever is going on! I do not think the magnitude range changes too much or still in the 5.9 to 6.5 Range, but a direct hit at New Madrid, or Prague would be bad. I think we are still talking about this Official Prediction here: http://earthquakealert3.blogspot.com/2013/12/official-prediction-for-earthquake-to.html AND saying Oklahoma or New Madrid could get this one although it is written up for California.

There was also a 2.5 that struck up past Barstow and near Ludlow where the epicenter of both the Landers and Hector Mines Earthquakes is located and just a mile or so from where that train derailed in the later. Janaury 9 was Day 52 after the Illinois/Indiana Tornado, while January 6 was Day 60 after Super Typhoon Haiyan/Philippines and so we can forget about both of those now and concentrate on the resultants from all the severe winter conditions that continue on virtually all across the country and could still lead to something that is worth watching and being prepared for!
